there just being themselves
My guess is that deep down they wish they had the balls to flaunt themselfs to a extreme.

They play by a different set of rules, and it can be entertaining and liberating at the same time being with people outside of ordinary social mores. You also don't get chavs/neds/macho fuckwads in overtly gay bars, so there's none of that stupid guy stuff to put up with. And generally one "no thanks, not my thing" is good enough and everybody's cool.
Hell, I lived in Thailand and half the time I couldn't tell what gender people were supposed to be let alone anything else. All very confusing for my conventional brain. But if I'm not planning on having sex with them, I don't really care what gender they are.
I'd rather be around fairies that are comfortable with themselves than insecure redneck wannabe alpha males.

Yeah, obviously joking. Bang whoever you want. I suppose I'm a 4 if 5 is totally straight and 1 is totally gay. Plenty of people assume I'm gay shich makes me kinda wish I were partly into dudes in a weird way.

always have been. never felt it mattered much, but i'm understanding more and more the importance of being out. i've never exactly aligned myself with gay culture, but all that obnoxious flaunting and the more flamboyant stuff you see in pride parades is maybe a little more understandable if you see it as an extension of the reaction to the oppression that gay people suffered up until the 70s. stonewall uprising is a decent documentary about the stonewall riots and circumstances surrounding that era. check it out if you're interested.
