To be fair, Gordian Knot had some good, not Devi-related input in other gear threads. But yeah, he did join after this thread was a thing, and mostly posted here. And mostly directly adressed spesific posts made by Devi elsewhere, pointing out where she was wrong. Honestly, the first time Devi posted about her stalker being in the thread, it was pretty obvious who she was talking about... I dunno, but most of the posts were similar, and it all came back to the console, the non-compete and Devicraft. Which we all by now should have made up our opinions about. I'm sure Devi will keep posting stuff like that for the foreseeable future, and I'm sure GK could keep on pointing out how wrong she is. What I'm not sure about is the point of it all. Sure, if guys wanna keep up talking about it and never let the wounds heal, go for it, but it's not going to change anything or lead to anything new, or a closure. All it will provide is Devi's zeitgeist haunting ILF for evurz.

Also, shouldn't we start saying "Hi Gordian " everytime we talk about him now? Too soon?

... I can't hammer this home enough -- there's no discussion to defend here. Seriously, it is/was a blog roll from someone who signed up after the Devi thread was made, is/was more or less exclusively a part of our community for the Devi thread (that much is/was clear), and obviously has some sort of weird preexisting relationship with Devi that is being furthered, in a one way conversation, and getting in the way of our slurpee discussion. Pointing that out should not elicit "wow you guys are so mean what the fuck?"

But I don't think you're trolling, though, I just think refusing to acknowledge what is, inarguably, a distinctly fucked up form of hijacking (as opposed to the benign kind that happens in like every thread here) because feelings might get hurt is silly.

And, also, this wasn't even a 'feelings hurt' level call to attention. This was downright polite.

For the record, I hate told GK the same things, much more gently, many times in PMs. I kind of lost it after being told the same things for a month and explaining my reasonings for not doing what he suggested.
