Here's one that's quite pertinent to me right now: K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple Stupid. I learned that way back in junior high during theater class or something.

Also, never pass up a chance to meet an interesting new potential romantic interest, even if she's a slight drive away. I'm really kicking myself over this one right now.

I used to play in drop Bb, but have been using C standard myself for a while now. Bb beckons me though, because of all the "lore" surrounding it.
