Finished: updating the YBA-1A. Fucker SCREAMS. I guess the JJ EL34's are going to not cut it in the end, so Chiller is sending me some 6550's. Gonna mod dat UP. Recapped, some suspect solder joints reflowed, re-did the hackjob 3 prong cord, tightened the jacks down. This motherfucker SCREAMS. Pics ssoooooooooon. Need to replace channel 1 volume pot as it's lost some of it's sweep at the end to off, really have to push it to get there. But man, it's so loud.

but i was using a vox coil cable for the longest time
and after awhile i grew really tired of it. it just always seemed to be in the way (unless you're not talking about connecting your guitar to it)
