Totally worth it.

EDIT - It might have been the big Al. Doesn't much matter since they both look like dogshit.

Any chance of upping the photo here?

All of the above?
Too many strings.
Hideous body.
Pickguard.
horns seem too large for the tiny body
Why are the knobs right on the precipice of the slope?
Why is there a slope to the top of the bass anyway?

However.
I played one, and it felt great. Sounded good too--maybe a hair too modern--but I was legitimately blown away by how easy it was to play.

The body really isn't tiny though, its essentially the same as a Stingray, it looks smaller in comparison because its got a 24 fret neck and better access to the highest frets. I'm not sure where else you would put the knobs. The slope is there to make it more comfortable and shave off some weight. Its one of the most comfortable basses when strapped on.

I've owned a few, a fretless one was probably the first "nice" bass I ever bought new. I think I've only gigged a Bongo once though. I also really dig the fret access when playing up high with an octave pedal.

Like I said, I've played one. The gimpy bottom horn never looked "right", and the top horn stays a little too flush with the neck for my liking. Also, the hard angles of the horns don't jive well with the rounded body, IMO.

As far as tiny goes, my usual is more or less a 335-sized body. Anything other than that feels small.

Also, I mean, you and I are more or less on the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to instrument/pedal aesthetics. It would be weird if you didn't like this bass. :)*

I don't absolutely love the shape but I want a 6er and I want that EBMM sound. This is their only 6 string option.

Oh fuck you guys! I've owned 3 Bongos and would buy another in a heart beat. Amazing tonal monster and light as fuck!

Could be worse. The frets could be going the wrong way...
