I've always wanted to try a Digitech Death Metal (I imagine both pedals are the same?) on bass. Hard to find a good demo on youtube, though. Seems cheaper pedals always have crappy demos.

Try and get a DOD... The Digis always seem thinner and more "digi" than their DOD counterpart... There maybe absolutely no validity to my statement but the Grunge and Death are for sure WAY better in the DOD case...

You can use it so. AND it is fact that at the time they came out other then a sovtek muff the 86 had more lows then just about any other dirt box.
