Finally got this and had a chance to play it for a while.
Man this thing rocks hard, even with the Lyre, which I was planning to remove or at least bypass.

Haha, just saw it in the EGC thread, headed right over that way after posting here of course! New pickups will probably make a world of difference. :thumb:

Maybe a refret or leveling too huh? Lemme know what you get quoted on that if ya don't mind??

Definitely will do! I'm hoping I have enough for both. If not I'll take the pickups over the fret leveling, or just hold off until I can pay for both

In: brand spanking new Monarch and Skully modded DFX-9
Out: my cash, my sadness.

Skully put the internal trimpots on to the outside so more noisy fun and extended delay time and repeats. It is awesome for noisy loops. Im really digging the Infinite repeat function. Thanks again skully, you the man!!!

The monarch unfortunately didn't engage when I turned it on. No gain or or no LED. I shot Jamie an email so I'll see what happens. No worries, I just really wanted to play with it (TWSS ;) ).

Also, my notebook with two lines to an unfinished song - "I received the message you sent me/it smelled like the cave you crawled out of'
Fuzz, reverb, delay.

Thanks! I haven't had too much time to actually play the damn thing, but it sounds heavenly so far. The aftertouch business is mighty cool, and with the capabilities of either being a monophonic or polyphonic synth, I think this was the best choice for me (at least from the initial reports haha). It sounds pretty decent through my bass and guitar amps (I've tried combos of Blues Jr. + AC15C1, and AC15C1 + Rumble 15) but I think my next purchase will be for some monitors and a mixer to properly hear it.

I was considering one but went with something a bit cheaper (and mono). Jealous! In my research I also ended up with major gas for a host of other unaffordables. Did you get this one off E-bay/Muff Wigglers? I saw one posted on both for a pretty good price.
