Too bad for the Dutch, but welp. Still hoping they can go down shooting against Portugal and knock them out... they'd need a whole bunch of goals, though... I guess if Germany beats Denmark and Nederlands beats Portugal, it would be one win and two losses for every team but Germany. Would be interesting to see.

Not much of interest for me today... I'm anxious to watch the rest of Sweden's games, as my heart always goes in their direction thanks to my bloodline... though they're always disappointing.

This tournament is everything I didn't expect. I can't exactly tell if I like it or hate it. Either way, i love me some footy.

Perfect in so many ways. If the majority of this country didn't turn into loud obnoxious idiots during any major soccer event I'd be indifferent about the whole thing. Now I just want them to get eliminated as fast as possible so I can enjoy the quiet.

The Spain V. Ireland match (which went as expected) switched from the English to the Spanish broadcast on ESPN3 online for a few minutes. I understood one word:

CALZONE

A little surprised Nando grabbed that brace. Good for him.

Such unnecessary pictures. But i admit.
Germany was excellent, escpecially Ozil (of course), Sweinie und Gomez was twice very good.
The dutch will still beat the Portugese, i predict. So we'll meet agian in the final ;)
This will be Ronaldo biggest deception and coincidently Holland weirdest group stage.

I read a fun fact yesterday:

Ronaldo has scored two goals total in his two World Cup and two Euro Cup appearances.

I root for Germany and Italy, because my grand-grand parents came from these countries, but specially Germany, because Schwainsteiger and Müller (Not my cousin) are great players

My family is generations removed from Germany but my sister was also stationed there. I've had Bayern Munich and German National Team jerseys since I was a freshman in high school.
