ohhh. you're using a drum sampler/computer/machine thing... I see... I hate those things... for me as a drummer they're like my natural enemy... :grumpy:
I mean I see that they come in handy, are always on time, don't take a lot of room, never screw up and most importantly they never get wasted before the gig so they can hardly play... and so on... but idk... I just can't get warm with them... :idk:
but it's mixed pretty excellent for a drum computer mixing thing... you know what i mean :D

you know i've always wanted to start to play drums, but not enough money, time and i'm afraid that it'd take ages for me to learn to play as good as i'd want to (taken my favourite drummers are usually progressive guys like Gavin Harrison)

good for you... i'm the phony here  but it's necessary for me to make my music. I tried to find some musicians to make it into a real band (maybe even with vocals and stuff) but that's probably not really possible :idk: whatever... thanks for your opinion, i appreciate it :)

when i program drums i spend inordinate amounts of time offsetting parts and hits so they don't sound mechanica;.

I went to this coffee place (The Human Bean) and they have awesome coffee and a disposable cup, and the lid can open and close. Maybe its because i'm so fucking tired, but i am highly amused

The Human Bean is funny enough for me.

but if you do film it, make it open and close while you talk as if it were the cup talking in a silly voice.

sorry, i already threw the cup away (actually recycled it cuz bitches love the environment) but this is the lid. It just has that swivel thing that like reusable mugs have. I was fascinated, and it's pretty awesome. If I bring in a reusable mug, I get 25 cents off a cup of coffee, and that would mean that I would pay less than 2 bucks so I wouldn't have to deal with change, but IMO its worth it because it brightens my day. btw, they asked if I wanted whipped cream on my coffee... who the fuck puts whipped cream on their coffee? drink it black or grow a pussy

1. That lid is fascinating.

2. Who puts cream of any sort in their coffee? drink it black or grow a pussy. I used to work at a gas station and people would get so confused that we didn't have little cups of creamer and rather a large refrigerated machine that said COFFEEMATE on it. Then you have people who come in and say *angry hick voice*"grr, I jus' want me a cuppa' plain black coffee." Since I agree with them on principle, I say, "try the house blend........the red one." When the fact that it's house blend implies that it varies from coffee proprietor to coffee proprietor and there is really no such thing as "regular" coffee.

3. All this coffee talk(like butta') makes me jones for a cup of joe and the fact that I'm unoccupied until 2:30 means I have three hours of relaxed french press operating/drum banging time on my hands. Until later, adieu ILF.

yeah, I lived in Illinois and anytime I went to Caribou (which is awesome coffee) and told them I wanted it black with no room for cream or sugar, everyone would look at me like I told them I just had a bukkake fest dressed up as adolf hitler

"wait, so you don't want cream?"
no
"so you want to add your own cream? I'll leave room for that" (read, lemme fill your cup up halfway and charge you full price)
no, i drink coffee black so if you could fill it up all the way, that would be great
"are you sure? because if you want to add cream or sugar, you're not going to have enough room to put much in without spilling"
yes, can i just have my coffee?
"ok, but don't blame me if you can't put cream in it"
I DON'T WANT FUCKING CREAM

SWEEET

But, word to the wise, old PA speakers may not be able to handle guitar amps for long. Both of the towers I have are completely not functioning. The speakers just up and died.
