I love peri peri sauce but it is tough to find in America. I wish there was a Nando's in Kentucky.

I guess spice in my Santa package is not worst thing, I'd just be terrified of it spilling everywhere.

I tried to grow ghost and habanero in pots last year, only got a few. Tried to grow habanero, poblano, and bell this year, didn't work at all. Apartment gardening is rough.

I have a little west facing balcony and got TONS of jalapenos this year. Were you doing indoor or outdoor?reckon luck wrote:I tried to grow ghost and habanero in pots last year, only got a few. Tried to grow habanero, poblano, and bell this year, didn't work at all. Apartment gardening is rough.
Also, making a crock pot of chili today. Seasonings so far: ground ancho chili, cumin, cayenne, garlic salt, fresh ground peppercorn medley, a little splash of each of the hot sauces in my fridge, bottle and a half of fat tire beer, one can each of fire roasted and chipotle rotel diced tomatos and chili. Now I wait.

We just barely moved and will have a west facing balcony for next season. I'm going to try even bigger pots, and get a stronger insect spray. My plants were getting chewed to pieces.gnomethrone wrote:I have a little west facing balcony and got TONS of jalapenos this year. That is a good pick. I'm not a big sriracha fan either, but I do like this aioli blend a lot.adamajah wrote:sambal oelek eats sriracha for breakfast:

Also at Fresh Market, it's sweet and spicy, so it's nice for eggs, veggie dogs, or seafood.

Seems legit. I have some "Eye hate god" branded hot sauce that's pure evil from beyond the pale. It makes your nose hairs light on fire. Totally sweet
