Almost all gifts go to the kids these days so I only ended up with one thing addressed to me. It was a bottle of chicory cherry bitters and I'm pretty happy with it.

I'm a veggie. Crisis averted!

The biggest chunk I ever took out of myself was while slicing herbs...

I took my gun to church

I know right? I felt kind of shitty, but I didn't know the event my dad was talking about happened in July. He said it had just happened, so I brought it just in case you know. Apparently two guys from IS or Isis or whatever the fuck killed a Catholic priest during mass on the alert and not one damn person could do anything. So he was fearful and asked to bring it. I don't normally like to carry, but I did it to please him. I'm safe when I carry and otherwise, so it wasn't a biggie.

Well...my 'rents paid for improv classes starting next month...so there was that and also a little cash and socks from my sister (I actually asked for that). Birthday (mid January) and Christmas presents sometimes get blurred too. Gonna probably try to snag a cheap microkorg.

But...biggest Christmas gift was time off (aka unemployment) for the season and a bunch of food before I need to really commit to finding a new job and losing weight.

So yea, solid haul this year. Honestly tho, this year was about more than presents for me. This is the first Christmas I've spent living with my future wife. I get to wake up every morning next to this beautiful woman and I count my lucky stars that she loves my ugly mug.

New headphones from my brother, a nice bottle of sake from his girlfriend, Star Wars Lego from my dad, and a fucking Volca FM from UC.

Also got a sweet shirt, socks, money, and loads of candy and beer. Got to say that I love that my family and friends know exactly what to get me - I dislike owning superfluous stuff, so it's great to just get things I either need or enjoy. Much love, very content. <3
