Needs more buzzwords. Here's some helpful advice I found online: http://www.startupchamp.com/robust-acti ... advantage/ianchandler wrote:Disclaimer: I got an extra cable in exchange for an honest review on the Covenant Cables site, but only on the product page itself. The review I'm posting here was not solicited. I did it of my own accord. If this breaks any rules, mods, feel free to remove it.

I recently got into pedals and needed some patch cables. I also wanted to find a cable manufacturer that was able to create custom cables. I love the woven covering on some cables, and I also prefer cables that use lead-free solder. I was having a bit of an issue finding these types of cables in the mainstream market, so I started looking at custom cable companies.
I learned about Covenant Cables on The Gear Page. They were offering a 50% discount in exchange for an honest review. So I sent a message asking if they could make cables to my specs. At this point, I had emailed other cable makers, and they either said they couldn't do it or that it would be expensive.
I got a response back quickly, and to my surprise, my dream cable was a go. Mogami cables, lead-free solder, nice Techflex covering. And the price was a steal--I was quoted $10-$15 per cable.
After a bit of chatting, I asked about trading in, since I'd seen that as an option on the site. I had a Small Clone I was trying to trade, and I figured I'd give it a shot. David (owner of Covenant) was happy to take it in. While I didn't get 50% off, I got to move a pedal I wasn't using.
So in the end, I got a total of four patch cables, and all I had to pay was the shipping cost of the pedal. They sound great and take up almost no space thanks to the pancake connectors.
If you need any kind of custom cable work done, then I suggest you hit up Covenant Cables. I think there's still a 50% off offer for patch cables (should be on TGP). But the regular prices are insane anyway. Crazy good customer service––David's an awesome dude––and a lifetime guarantee.
But, hey, glad you're here.
