For T-shirts, American L, rest of the world and American Apparel XL. Also, if you have baseball caps among your merch, I could use a new one. Happy to wear your band, label, or music gear biz stuff proudly.

Music: I tilt shoegaze and psych, but also dig triphop, glitchy stuff, electronic stuff though generally more head stuff than dance club, oddball singer songwriters, and non-cliche rock. I like some of the "nu jazz" I've heard quite a bit (Araset, Westerhaus, Molvaer). Very interested in any hip hop or r&b that would be musically and harmonically interesting to a shoegazer--beats and rhymes alone don't send me. And definitely your music. Oh, and I have vinyl and a decent turntable, but I never get to spend time with them--cd or digital delivery lets me listen to music in my life. If you do the cassette thing, that's easier to listen to then vinyl.

Food: vegetarian but adventurous within that constraint.

Gear: I don't delve enough into ILF sponsor and sharktank dirt because I DIY fuzzes, but I know I'm missing out and was gonna start trying some stuff in the new year. I like blown-out, broken, and textured sounds a lot. I don't expect anyone to spring for MASF, a CT5, Judder, Hexe, or similar stuff, but those sorts of flavors of granular, glitchy, pitchy equilibrium destroyers really grab me. Anything that goes near to those places in a budget space would be the bomb. I have shit tons of delays, and probably don't need more, but I love them, so . . . What would be totally useful and loved would be expression pedals, CV sequencers--stuff that lets me leverage my current gear. That stuff may seem boring, but a 10k and a 50k expression pedal would keep me tweaking all year. Homemade gifts are not only welcome, but beloved.

Oh, and I waive the pedal requirement if anyone wants to send me cool old digital rack stuff like Midiverb II or a stylaphone synth. (What happened with all those Gakken synth things everybody was buying all at once this last year?) Pedal kits are cool, too.

Like D'arcy, no controlled substances or illegal stuff.
NSFW: show
Gear added in the last year or slightly more, to add to the inventory I buried in my "show all your pedals Excane style" post for last year: Moog Minifooger Drive; Digitech IStomp, Digidelay, Hardwire DL-8 delay, and IPS-33b rack harmonizer; Eventide Eclipse; Boss ROD-10 half-rack overdrive/distortion/fuzz; and Yamaha JX-25 combo amp.

It's the most wonderful tiiiiiiime of the year

Shirts:large
Food: love chocolate. Other snacks, preferably nothing with corn or maize in it as a thickener but don't stress too much bc even if it does I can give it to my girlfriend
Music:it's all good, vinyl, cd, digi, romantic mixtapes
Pedals: anything! Might post a list of everything soon but I should be easily stalkable I think. Weird shit is cool. I have drive covered and don't like chorus much but other than that go for your life!
Other: I love books (I haven't read any good fiction in a long time if you have reccomedations) caps and socks and cool weird art and stickers and badges. Id love to hear your music

I hope my Santa doesn't stress too much bc I'll be stoked with whatever

Ah, do what you want, guy, I like being surprised. If you want some ideas, though, I could use an expression pedal, to try with some stuff I'm building with CV/EXP inputs. I also like modulation pedals, even cheap cheesy ones. I love my Arion Stereo Phaser and Fender Starcaster Chorus. I've always wanted to try out on of those Zoom multi-effect boxes.

Shirts: men's small - I like 'em teeny and toasty.

Gear: fuzz and weirdness and loopers, etc.

Books: introduce me to new poetry?

Music: I'm down for new stuff. Any format is cool, but I have a distinct leaning towards vinyl :D

Food Stuffz: I'm vegan, so just send like 15 lbs. of Daiya.

Misc: dixxx. Seriously though, Dr. Ry Ry Scientist hooked it up with the phallic gifts two years ago.

Other than that, STALK AWAY!

Loss of career or professional status means no more money to buy pedals or to keep the place where I keep the pedals. I'm completely lame about this.

Okay! Here goes!
-Try to keep it pretty general in the wishlist thread. Maybe builders you like, types of effects you're into, etc. Instead of being like "Get me a Count to Five!" maybe say "I'm into looping and glitchy stuff and pitch shifting madness." and then maybe you'll get a ct5 or maybe you'll get some other awesome glitchy thing you weren't expecting. FUN!
Just stalk me or whatever! I am into all sorts of effects and my current collection is modest, so go nuts! The only thing I'll specify is thus: I like effects that do something. The fuzz/dirt side of my collection is lacking; a crazy fucking fuzz pedal that just, like, goes there would not go unappreciated. I don't need a transparent OD or compressor or whatever... I have one of each that I like (an OCD and a Warden) so it's time for, you know, adventure.
-It might be helpful to post your pedalboard or your collection so nobody buys you something you already have.

My pedalboard goes, EQD Warden Comp > Ernie Ball VP Jr. Volume Pedal > Fulltone O.C.D. OD > Nine of Swords Burial At Sea > EQD Organizer > EHX Deluxe Electric Mistress Flanger > EHX Small Clone Chorus > TC Electronic Alter Ego X4 Vintage Delay > Hungry Robot Stargazer Dual Channel Reverb > TC Electronic Ditto X2 Looper, there you go! I also have an EHX Big Muff Pi in my closet that's broken.
-Include T shirt size, any dietary needs/restrictions/things that gross you out, music you're into, and stuff like that.
T-shirt size is XL; no dietary restrictions; I'm into all musical genres but I really love emo, post-hardcore, pop-punk, doom, drone, shoegaze... anything with really big fucking guitars, anything with atmosphere... see signature for list of favourite bands. There isn't really any music I hate so whatever you wanna give me is cool.
-Don't use this in lieu of stalking. The hunt is the rewarding part, not the kill.
Once I get my person I'm gonna be outside their house with binoculars and one hand down my pan—er, a notebook! And pen. Go with that.

Please, tell us if you can run vinyl or not.

send them to me
on this note I might as well make it clear that if my ss doesn't send themselves waldo jeffers style I'm going to be somewhat underwhelmed.

I did one of these last year so if you do yr homework you should pick up the gist, but here's some general thoughts:

clothes: I'm 5'9" on the dot and about 130 on a good day, aka anti-jwar. Shirt size small. I'm not adverse to t-shirts, but on most days I'm wearing button ups, so if you inclined towards getting me some threads I'd be equally appreciative of a thrift-store cardigan or whatnot.

music: I think my own should give a general idea of what I'm into: lero.bandcamp.com. I like noise, drone, artrock stuff like most of us here. Always a sucker for krautrock/kosmiche, SF-ballroom bands, older folk/blues, classical pieces. Female driven works very welcome. If you make music I'd love to hear it and get a sense of your own self. I can play vinyl, cds, tapes, digital. Still working up to 8-track and quad.

literature: always up for classic SF writers like PKD or Gibson. Hardboiled stuff like Raymond Chandler or James M Cain is a very big influence too. Joan Didion is probably my favourite writer. Zines are great too.

food: nothing perishable please. I love dark beer and brown ales and I'm into whisky, but canada is still using prohibition-era laws against import/export, so probably best to forgo the alcohol. I have a weak enamel so I'm not big on sugary/sweet stuff, but aside from that I'm usually open. Homemade goods are wonderful.

gear:

60s/70s fender mustang, modded to hell
60s parlour acoustic
non-master ampeg v2
60s traynor 1x15

pedals:
ss/bs fuck
polytune mini
ditto looper
acid age pale mare
ibanez ddl
ct5 v1
dba echo dream ii clone
(off board:
gb 24
seppuku kompakt kassette
ehx dmm
(not currently functioning) ehx freeze)

I'm generally a less is more kind of person, and I try to limit my board to the essentials for my sound. No dirt please, I've got that nailed down. I'd be interested in some subtle modulation (leslie or magnatone type sounds), maybe a small reverb pedal, or even just another freeze cause I'm pretty sure I've broken mine for good trying to add new jacks . I'm sure I sound pretty lame here, but the pedal is really just a minor area for me with ss. It's the community spirit that I enjoy best .
