I still don't get why Death Grips is so popular among people with good taste in music. WTF am I missing? It is some semi interesting electronic things going on with a super angry dude who has terrible rhythm yelling over it.

A little over halfway through Government Plates. Not going to speak to the production & sounds since I'm listening on a shitty mono headset, but I'm not really feeling the style of these tracks so far. Super disjointed, but not in a good way.

To me they're a rap group that's heavy. I get a similar enjoyment out of metal bands. There's a ton of energy and it makes me feel pumped up. It makes me feel emotions. What Ride says and how he says it is shocking at it's peak. I think they put a lot of heart in it. I know for sure Zach does. I also think they have a unique sound, I dunno any other groups that sound like death grips. I don't like everything they do but I really enjoy a lot of their music. I don't think I agree with terrible rhythm personally. I think ride has some really unique flow at a lot of points. He also makes great simple hooks, really catchy in a good way.
