There's a natural finish (maple look) one with the black hardware that isn't as heinous. Still not good. So many things off on the aesthetic, still. If it gets cleared out for $600 next November, I might check out if it plays/sounds good, though. I do like the use of the Maestro vibrato, though not in black chrome.

If I can get one of these for cheap (not the pinstriped one) I'd be all over it. If they made it a 12 string with locking tuners and retained a trem system, I'd so pay the asking price. Belly cut, upper fret access, nice woods, semi hollow, lots of tonal variation with the pups. I like it. I like it a lot. Does the world really need more of the same?

anything that the major companies puts out that isn't yet another fucking strat/tele/jag/p-bass/j-bass/les-paul is all good in my book. I just want some different shit out there, honestly. I'm sick of seeing the same 5 body shapes on every fucking piece of gear.

Good to see Gibson putting out a semi-hollowbody for under $1500. Unfortunately, it's this abomination. I could see the hard rocking dudes in Avenged Sevenfold endorsing these and if you act now, you get a $50 gift card to Hot Topic.
