Fucking dano parts are not as plentiful as they were back in 2010… seems they did not continue selling them since they moved production from Korea… I found a bridge by slusser guitars, a nos neck pickup, a guitar fetish bridge pickup, I had a nut, have tuners… I will never find a correct jack plate… knobs are not going to happen… so I’m not doing concentric controls.. I am though going to cover the headstock in red alligator embossed vinyl

one of the unfortunate realities of current life is that the days of super-cheap parts that allowed me to put together the Hopf and Kondor are long gone for the most part. i think the Kondor body cost maybe $25. nobody was aware of what was out there, but they found out.
