You know whats sadder? I've met people on campus here that haven't heard of Futurama.

I don't know how they live.

Seriously, that episode is one of the Top 5 most tear-jerking cartoons.

#1 being Grave of the Fireflies of course. If I ever see anything sadder than that I'll likely hang myself.

i like that ep where he learns to play that magical flute thingo and he gets his hands from the devil or something haha

I love Futarama so much... :joy:
I want a giant bunny and I want a bunch of regular bunnies and they will form a hive mind and the giant bunny will be the queen bunny and they will attack in swarms.

Futurama is basically the best show ever. That episode makes my happy machine malfunction. :(

The unique thing about futurama is that it's a (lowbrow) comedy at best...it's not a downer film/show approaching serious themes using the medium of a cartoon...
it's a silly show about delivering packages in outerspace with a few nerdy jokes, yet it still pulls at your heartstrings.

Oh and the episode where they are hopping through time and Fry and Leela end up married somehow...and it turns out Fry had spelled out "I Love You Leela" with the stars but they all get sucked into a blackhole before Leela sees.
