Bass VI output should be grounded?
So my Squier Bass VI started cutting out awhile ago. Opened it up and found the output was no longer connected. Another strange thing I noticed was that the output jack was never grounded. That's not right, right? I had never had any problems with it before Should I add a ground? Anyone else have a Squire Bass VI like this?

They use the plate to ground everything.
