I remember them. Looked up an article... jeez, she was just 31? Quite sad :cry:

Yeah. I'm 32 and feel like I'm super young, relatively.

I started listening to KITTIE after the song Jonny came out. I always assume "famous people" are older than me. It sounds like I was listening to musicians within my age group when I was in HS. That's crazy.

Yeah I remember when they first came on the scene, they were either in or just out of high school, I think. I was a few years older.

I am sucker for all the Quicksand-esque grindy malestrom thud things, so I am bummed. Spit was a fun record, didn't really check them out after that.

Looks like she was fighting depression and anorexia-related stuff, which is always a bummer :(

Saw them open for Otep in like 2004. Tight live band and loud as hell.
