What are you buying on Bandcamp today?

Post by worra »

Bandcamp is donating all of their sales proceeds to the ACLU today. Feels like a good day to catch up and buy some new stuff.

Looking for recommendations and just to see what y'all are into.

Patterns of Light and Black Wings are fascinating, gorgeous, unbelievably cool albums made by my friend Warren. Proggy Thin Lizzy with tons of Mellotron on top of Moog bass drones and fronted by a witch. I played Mellotron on one track and played keyboards on Three Sacred Hymns so I feel weird hyping it but it is GREAT.

Mover//Shaker is the best band in Michigan period, possibly ever. If you get the chance, catch this band live. Michigania is AOTY 2016
http://movershaker.bandcamp.com

The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die is my favorite band and they are the best

Atsuko Chiba are from Montreal and when I saw them in October I realized that Atsuko Chiba are the first band to be capable of speaking the language of an alien race that has been teaching us to communicate with it for a little over a hundred years now. Sounds like early Mars Volta and a world beyond the sun we cannot conceive of

also I made an EP out of a His Name Is Alive cover and some samples of Mover//Shaker and TWIABP that's fresh out in the wild. Heavy melodic drone from modular synth, pedals and a monosynth

I play guitar and modular synthesizer in Juggable Offense.

I'm looking to drastically shrink my wishlist this evening. No idea what all is there because it also functions as a "check this out later" function

Wait, so you want us to support an organization whose entire shtick is to sue people who have different opinions than they do? I'll get right on that.
