I don't mind the drilling, but I hate when dentists act like orthodontists. Motherfucker. You're not legally allowed to talk shit about my bite.

Drives me crazy when the hygienist wants to have a conversation. I'm not moving my mouth at all while your hands are in there. No amount of telling me it's fine will convince me otherwise.

Dude, I suffered this from the dental assisstants at the practice I go to just recently. WHAT THE FUCK IS IT ABOUT?!
Although, it was my dentist who got all booby with my head and not them, and my dentist was actually pretty nice to me.
So I'm still not getting it.

The last time I went to the dentist, the assistant was amazing. She would ask a question and the *remove the tools from my mouth* so I could answer. She was nice and funny and the dentist was gentle. It was a shocking experience, really.
Now, if we want to talk about how dentists don't take medical insurance even though the health of your mouth is critically important to your overall heath, I am here for that discussion.

I agree with dental exclusions being ridiculous. If you get something real bad going on in your mouth it will fuck you up.
I mean, it's only an important orifice located on your skull.

I was born without #23 (lower center adult tooth), and therefore needed an implant put in. My dentist worked with my orthodontist to make sure he left a gap so I could eventually do the surgery. I had braces for two and a half, almost three years.
It took those three years of fighting insurance by my parents, dental admin/receptionist, orthodontist, dentist, to get even get shit approved. Another six months for them to actually pay. They claimed it was cosmetic the entire time, until some very careful writing and explanations that it was hereditary.
