Vitamins
So, I'm in the process of losing weight and eating better and I figure I should be taking some supplements. My big issues are weight loss and umm man issues. Any advice on supplements? I'd like to jump start my libido.

Re: Vitamins
Soooooooo you're want to jump start your libido and lose weight. Well my friend you're in luck. Every heard of Yohimbe? http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplemen ... me=yohimbe
Not ONLY will it make you horny as shit with the righ dose, but it will motivate you to exercise.
It also can help with depression, anxiety and a slew of other things. Now if you're on a medication for depression now, be careful as it can interact with some of the same receptors that medications do. For instance I'm on Lexapro, I cannot touch the stuff. Other people I know have and they literally felt like new people. I would suggest getting it in a liquid form as it's faster acting. https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=yo ... t&tbm=shop
For weight loss, it's really going to be mostly diet. I'm not going to lie. You can however help aid loss with certain supplements but you need to do your homework before taking them. CLA is a good one, it's an Omega 6 fatty acid. If you take that though, I strongly recommend getting one with an Omega 3 in it or also taking an Omega 3. Too much Omega 6 can over toxify your system and cause issues you don't want. Blending them prevents this.
Also for man issues, check out-
Maca (it's natural and actually just tells your body what to do as opposed to putting something in it that forces it to do something). I have had women tell me it makes them horny. I took it for a few years and it made me feel good but not horny. LOL.
Look into Tribulus as well. It's what's in most testosterone boosters. So a concentrated dosage of this could help increase libido and increase lean muscle mass.
Get better sleep (take melatonin if you need to). Lowering your cortisol levels will help immensely with weight loss and libido. This is directly affected by sleep and stress.
Consider also going to a doctor and seeing what your hormone levels are. If you have insurance, it's worth it. I've been on TRT treatments for like 10 months now and it's changed my life man. That's a testosterone shot twice a week. My doctor said my levels were that of a 60+ year old man. He started me on the shot, I lost weight, gained muscle and felt like I was in my twenties again. Amazing.
I have lost of knowledge on supplements. I've studied a lot of them quite extensively. So if you have any specific questions, let me know.

Diet and exercise. Exercise will help with testosterone. Test booster is fake. Just push your body consistently and see what it'll do for you before you become a slave to supps and the never-ending game of placebo BS.

Vitamin B. 1000mg every day has really helped curb my anxiety. Only catch is it speeds up metabolism a bit, so I get hungry pretty early when I've normally skipped breakfast.

I beg to differ sir. You're speaking more of homeopathic type supplements if you mean they are placebos. I have test many, many supplements and had blood work done, and they do in fact work. It's just a matter of what you take and why.wsas3 wrote:Diet and exercise. Exercise will help with testosterone. Test booster is fake. Remember. Supplements are made to supplement what you're not getting in your diet. Some things you literally cannot get enough of in your diet. IE most things. LOL
Also, saying test boosters are fake is a pretty vague as a lot of the ingredients in test boosters, especially the ones I mentioned have been medically studied and show results. They do work, but not all things work the same for all people.

Re: Vitamins
Also if exercise helped with testosterone, I'd be so full of test my eyes would be bulging. But for me, my test levels lower when I exercise. A lot of men have the same issue. I literally use all the test in my body during my exercises. This have been confirmed by an endocrinologist. So hormone therapy is a MUST for me if I want to feel normal. Either that or I just sit with a low level and feel like shit all day.
Again, what works for me, may not work for you and vice versa.

Re: Vitamins
Yohimbe didn't really do much for me. L-Arginine on the other hand, well let's just say I have morning wood as much as I did in my mid-late 20's again, and my performance is back up to those levels too (I'll be 44 in Feb).
I never had an issue with urge, I'm a horny bastard, it was the flesh that was weak. L-Arginine ended that. I can even achieve multiple orgasms without losing an erection again, and go like 3-4 times a day which I hadn't done in almost a decade until I started with the L-Arginine. Zinc is also good, as it's one of the reasons behind the Oyster's reputation as an aphrodisiac and definitely can help fight impotence.

Re: Vitamins
Love Kratom, but it's an opioid and carries the same addiction potential and some of the same health problems associated with opiate use. It's also more expensive than scripts or H if you match dose for potency, and overdose feels like absolute shit - you'll puke your face off long before you get the nod. It would probably make you lose weight, but it would be counterproductive for man issues. Be very careful taking kratom, especially if you take it regularly.jwar wrote:Cough Kratom for anxiety. I mean I take a lot of things, some multivitamins, fish oil etc. So yeah I understand the diet thing.jwar wrote:I beg to differ sir. The thing I meant about test boosters is that it doesn't boost testosterone beyond a small amount, or else it would be called test and be illegal. it just replicates things that go hand in hand with having high test. The lower your test the more it'll hep and possibly raise it yes but that's only because you were slacking in some aspects.

Re: Vitamins
Well yeah you and I exercise regularly, and the results in test increase isn't a straight slope. Reason why there are huge beginner gains for people who start lifting. Your body is shocked by the stimuli, but then you exercise for months and months and those levels even out and stay the same pretty much. It's hard to say though, lot of men have them lowered during exercise then elevate afterwards and vice versa. I feel like I go between both.jwar wrote:Also if exercise helped with testosterone, I'd be so full of test my eyes would be bulging. But for me, my test levels lower when I exercise. The leagues you compete in don't test, or you just work around that? Or it only raises test to normal levels?

Re: Vitamins
Be careful messing with testosterone.
Seriously talk with a doctor before messing with too many supplements. (my wife is a doctor, I get to hear some bad stuff about self medicating, supplements, and homeopathic). Multivitamin and a well balanced diet are the safest. Nothing will work better than a well blanced diet and exercise.
