I feel like I have been. Posting too much. I've been going crazy since I'll I've done this summer is work and hang out with the girlfriend and being non productive when she's busy. Plus fuzzing. I've started going on walks this past week and it's nice but is only like an hourish out of the day. I'm trying to find some duders to jam with and talk music but the facebook music group here doesn't seem that hopeful and everyone likes country music. Just hanging out here and other corners of the internet while my brain is rotting away

So this park that I've been walking at is like 100 acres of beauty. It's borders this huge state federal mental hospital/prison place. And they have this organization of volunteer groundskeepers (I guess is a good term) and like the whole thing is covered in fancy gazebos and tons of flowers and trees and plants everywhere and everything has a little sign talking about the trail/plants/whatever. Pretty cool. Plus a lake and some fields and playgrounds, yknow standard park stuff. I'll try and get a good picture next time I'm there
That sounds pretty cool. We've got a really big park here in Philly and while I've been to some parts of it, there are other major parts I've never been to. I keep meaning to check those parts out. Every time I go there, I always end up going to the same parts I've been before.

How is Philadelphia? I have this feeling I'm going to end up living in or near St. Louis in the next so many years. I really dig it every time I go. Plus there are some ILFers in STL
I'm in one of the biggest cities in Missouri right now but it's nothing comparatively. Still feels like same old middle of nowhere but with more strip malls and busier streets.
ive gotta get out in nature more, but its too cold and dead now and too hot in summer, theres a small window of temperate opportunity but i live in a gorgeous place so i should go out on more bushwalks, it all starts to look the same after a while around here though.

i mean i can get to the city but its an hour and a half on the train, theres a few like minded musicians in my area, but we are already in a band, and the rest of them are super lazy

Philly's sorta nice as far as big cities go. It has its plusses and minuses. Overall though, I'm pretty sick and tired of living in cities. I need to move. I've never owned a car though, I ride my bike as transportation.

I too need to get outside more. I just don't. I usually just engross myself in writing music endlessly and all my time goes into that. Probably not healthy.

i dunno man, writing is pretty good! at least you are creating something with your time, i havent written a song in over a year, i always found it tricky, especialy alone but i have lost all my confidence, it fucking sucks
there are certainly worse ways to spend your time

add writing stories/novels with writing music and I'm in the same boat. I constantly feel like everybody else is out living their lives while I'm cooped up in my room, but at the same time I have this notion that if I don't push myself into creating a constant body of creative work then I'm wasting time. I honestly can't remember the last time I didn't have any projects on the go and just...existed.
