Right now, the iRig Pro is on sale for $35 off ($115) at Best Buy. I've been looking around at iPad interfaces and have tons of Christmas Best Buy gift cards (since that's what every relative buys a 20 year old dude for Christmas). I was interested in the iTrack Solo but it's like 50 bucks more expensive at the BB so I've been looking for something else and the iRig seems pretty nice and I think it's supposed to come with a few coolio apps too

Re: Good deals on recording equipment
GC's used site has done me right if I'm patient.
Recently got some Mackie MR5s for $60@, nothing wrong with them, and the current Mk3 model.
Called, asked a couple questions, and poof, better studio monitors for a song.
No idea on the iStuff though, I avoid the Apple ecosystem if at all possible.
