I am making an Audio Probe using a guitar cable, aligator clip and 10uf Electrolytic Capacitor.
Q1) When attaching the 10uf Electrolytic capacitor, do I attach the longer positive (+) leg to the wire or the shorter negative leg to wire, or does it not matter which leg?
Q2) Or should I be using a non polarised Greencap type Capacitor or other?
