You could use a currier service- they take a LONG time, and probably aren't the best, but are cheap. I remember shipping a Sunn head to Chicago where it then went by boat overseas to Europe. The transformer lifted during transport, BUT NOT A SINGLE TUBE WAS BROKEN.
Okay maybe you shouldn't ship it that way.

I'm assuming it's a guitar. That sucks. Fucking sucks dude.
I sold a bass international and had to not send the box and put it in two separate boxes taken apart. The body in one, the neck in another. Then I had to cross my fingers and wait for it to arrive. I shipped to the Middle East to! It arrived and cost around 100 bucks total to ship that way. UPS wanted 400 fucking dollars. I laughed at them. USPS all the way baby, but not cheap or easy.

Fuck dude. Almost not worth it unless it's an expensive fucking combo. USPS will not ship certain dimensions. That's why I had to do two boxes. Good luck figuring it out. You live in one of the most expensive places in the world to ship to. Well next to California (WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THAT SHIT HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Ok here's the max dimensions on USPS
Max. length 46", width 35", height 46" and max. length plus girth combined 108"
You may be good to go that way.

FedEx is usually cheaper than USPS and they're definitely cheaper than UPS because they purposefully make themselves cheaper.
I don't know if they do international though.

^^^Lol.
But yeah, shipping stuff from the US to Aus is expensive at the best of times. Something that size + weight is gonna be expensive no matter who you send it through.

I don't believe Fed Ex is cheaper international, but I could be wrong. Maybe it depends on what you ship. When I got a quote from them it was almost as ridiculous as UPS.
