spent the morning sending resumes to job listings. then i took a nap because i wanted to give my brain some time to work on things before i got up and wrote an e-mail to the woman i'm corresponding with. if it works out this could really be good. now i'm going to play with the Mini Black Plague synth some more...i'm getting better at figuring out how the controls interact and can sometimes set it off on a random chaos setting that's quite delightful and is somewhat tweakable. i've even gotten it to where it doesn't scare the cat away. it's a fussy little fucker, but i like that in musical equipment.

I woke up at 5 am with a bit of a wine hangover, choked down some possibly-too-strong-for-one-in my condition-coffee, then proceeded to spend the rest of my day pooping and being a shitty housekeeper. Then Rachel gets home. we went for Mexican, I came home, pooped again, and here I am, you sassy little fanny

Mmm Hmmmm girlfriend. Oh no she di'n't

I woke up after like 5 hours of sleep since I work until midnight on Tuesdays and it takes like 45 mins to get home ( :( ), and took a quick shower. Then I went to my internship, did some research stuff, spent most of the afternoon messing around on Google Maps. Then I went on a twisted roundabout detour that I made up to get around rush hour traffic and an accident. That took like an hour and a half, but was probably about as efficient as if I took the interstate. Had band practice for ~3 hours, went through most of our show for Saturday. Came home, ate tator tots and meatballs w/roasted veggies. Also, started drinking beer and watching TV.

So yeah, that's where I'm at now. PBR and Colbert. Gotta go to bed soon since I intern again tomorrow and need to leave by 9.

Got a call at 2:00 that my kid was at the school nurse's with a temp of 103. Felt guilty because he had been whining about not wanting to go to school this morning. Picked him up, swung by the Dr.s to make sure it's not strep (looking like it's just a virus), picked up some popsicles & brought him home to veg out while I finished work on my laptop next to him on the couch. Now I'm kinda paranoid that I'm coming down with something too.

Your friend is absolutely right. Kindergarten has actually been better than daycare was. I swear, back then he'd barely get a sniffle and we'd end up with the bubonic plague.
