1W Class A Stereo headphone amp with dual passive james EQ for left and right sides of the stereo signal and gain controls. Built in phono preamp for record players.
At first I was kind of wondering about the dual tonestack, but then I realized it's actually great, for example if you're using two vastly different speakers to EQ them pretty respectively. So awesome

he loves it. The idea for dual everything is that he has one ear that is really close to being deaf and one that is okay so he needs asymmetric volume and EQ. It was stupid loud in headphone, almost 2 loud. Probably could easily run as a stereo amp if you wanted it to.
I love how beefy it is.. it's seriously cool... your grampa must think it's so cool that his grandson can make world class audio gear like that. Bet it sounds as amazing as it looks too..
I'd love to have an amp like that for music, I just use a simple stereo setup for everything anyway. I'll check out those kits but I bet they aren't as cool as what you made..
ahah thanks man. I kinda overspecced it. That PT could put out like 10-15W of power and I was only asking like 1W in Class A per side. Heavy shit tho haha. It has dual EQs in that one since he is partially deaf in 1 ear. Thus he could have independent control of each side of the stereo image.
