The DA120 is my take on the Matamp GT120. Both of these units were commissioned by Ron in Curse The Son. Its based on the 70s GT120 schematic with a few changes such as a full wave rectified bias supply, removed the Drive control, and added Shift control. Drive is useless in position 1 and 2 IMO so I removed it but Positions 3 and 4 can be chosen from using the Bright switch that I added to the amp as well. Fog is Presence. Non master volume amp.
Hi nick, I know you'll be putting more details and pics down about this amp later, but is the general deal with it to be a single channel that stays clean, or does it get fairly wooly when cranked? I have checked it out on the youtuber but I can't remember. Also, master volume?
WWPD?

its not super clean and gets gritty at around 9-10 oclock but not a ton of gain. Could be modded to have a PPIMV
Heres a cool closeup of the green basketweave tolex! This thing sounds great. Ron played a gig the other night with it and the volume was at maybe 2ish and it crushed the whole bar, nasty beast.
Which amp had the hogs/boars on it? I love that one. really awesome look.
