gotta be honest I wasn't really impressed with the first track.

a buddy leaked some mp3s on a site, but none of my programs will actually play them which sucks.

I'm on my 3rd listen.
For the first few tracks its loveless 2.0, then its gets abstract/chill/guttural/dissonant at times, sometimes all at once. I don't know how to explain it, all I can say is that it's not loveless but you still know its my bloody valentine, and that its damn good.
I say strong 8 or light 9. I may like it more than loveless after 20-30 listens, who knows.

You bought the LP? Which digital download did you get with it? If you got lossless I would just give it a listen.
The mp3 is confirmed trans-code, its at 128 kbps. Sounds like shit.

Yeah I try to avoid mp3s, but its not even 320... 320 kbps is tolerable, but this is terrible.
