I've never purchased a neck or body from them but I have purchased pickups and other hardware there and it was all good quality.
Their necks and bodies probably aren't the best you could buy but I bet they are comparable to the Allparts or Mighty Might stuff and 1/2 the price.
You may want to avoid the stuff with a finish because that is usually where they cut cost.

I figured the finished bodies were probably not as good quality which is something I learned working at a music store selling acoustics the painted ones were always crumby. Thanks for the information.

I too have bought pickups from guitar fetish. Pretty good quality.
Not sure about their bodies and necks though. But it seems they are a good source for pickups.

I don't know about the necks or bodies...they bought them from a cheap overseas manufacturer that was going out of business or something, right? Is that the part of the site you're referring to?
Anyway, there's apparently some hit or miss stuff. Their pickups aren't bad for the price, obviously some are much better than others, but I've had some luck with a couple of theirs. I've also bought some other parts from them before (bridges, mounting rings, etc) and have no qualms about recommending them to someone in general. Once they double-shipped a part to me, once they shorted me on pickup screws and gave me the wrong type of screw. Once they shipped the correct pickup, but in the wrong packaging. Minor stuff. They don't always provide all the specs/measurements you need, but still. As far as budget stuff, they do have some good offerings (but, from what I've read, not a lot of customer support--though I've gotten good replies from them before.)

their PUs are widely appreciated, especially the P90esque ones. i had a set of Strat PUs with the reverse-staggered polepieces (for the Jimi Hendrix thing) which i didn't much care for, but the wiring on the loaded pickguard was very well-done including a Sprague orange drop capacitor. their bodies are generally made of paulonia (sp?) wood, which is a mahogany-like wood but much softer than mahogany...folks on the Gretsch forum who've bought their bodies have complained that the wood is so soft that screws will pull out and that they dent more easily than basswood. i haven't ever seen one, though, and other folks who've tried them have been happy.

I had the XV-580 Chambered Double Cutaway model. The build quality was weak in my opinion. A decent Squier or Epi would totally outshine it easily. I pulled the pups from it and stuck it in some Luna guitar I bought for like $150 and they seemed to give the guitar some character. The pups were Fat Pats. I would buy them again. On another note, the XV-JT90 model looks pretty sweet.
