Releasing an EP on vinyl?

I am sure there is thread that has some clues in it, I couldn't find any.

Anyways, Does anybody know an economical way to have an EP pressed on vinyl? I am talking about 22-23 minutes worth of music. Really only looking for 100 copies max (at least initially).

Any help is appreciated!

You have to find out how they want it sent too, assuming it's all Mastered and ready to Press...

I haven't owned a stereo in.. probably a decade? (that is, turntable, amp, speakers.. haven't had any of these. Just headphones, laptops, iPods, iPhones now..) I'm not a good music fan apparently

Luckily that has never happened.

Most recording artists do digital, cd and MAYBE a vinyl. I own half a dozen records and only two of them are newer. NIN and Ronald Raygun. Never listened to either of them. Have digital copies of both.

The way I look at it is vinyl is more for the wall than the player. Meaning, I'll decorate with them but won't listen to them.

I think it'd be cool if you do a vinyl Delta, but a cd/digital would be cool too.

I've got a special place in my heart for vinyl, as that's where I really got into music was on my parents' old records and their stereo, and I have a few vinyls laying around the apartment, but I personally do everything digitally now. Just too dang convenient.

We have 5 songs mastered. We originally recorded more (8 I think) and decided that an EP was smartest for where we are at. Now that we are ready to release it, I am thinking if we do CD's who is really is going to listen to them in that form. At best, the music is put on a computer and/or iPod or whatever.It's like, why even go to the trouble of doing CDs.
So vinyl seems like a cool way to release, a lot of people around here in Gainesville listen to vinyl, it is something physical, it could have nice art, we could include a code for digital download of the music. Then I find out how much the price is...not too far out but more than what makes it a no-brainer.
So, we need to evaluate our goal. The main one is to get our music out there.
Second, how absolutely happy are we with the recordings? They are good. They sound great mastered. We recorded with a guy the has recorded a couple of Against Me! albums, in a nice studio. Our recording Budget wasn't too much. The songs have a raw-ish vibe to them. I think our problem is, that a few of the songs are played a bit different these days. Also, while I think these are good songs, we have a lot of newer stuff that may represent us a little better now, we have grown as a band.
SO, maybe a digital release for this EP and then in December maybe we record everything we have for a real deal album. We'll see.

The second point, that sounds like a good idea to me. Putting something out on vinyl (to me anyway) is a huge deal, anyone can do a digital release. But Vinyl is not a DIY type of thing (Well it can be, but isn't good in any way except for "fun") so to put some material that's only "okay," isn't what I would do. Also it doesn't seem as if you're really, really happy with the current recordings. If you're not satisfied don't do something just to do it, make it count.

Side Note: I have obtained more Vinyl in the last six months than CD's in the last eight years. It's more fun to look through 1,000's of LP's than little Cd boxes, although I buy tons of cassettes too, most bang for your buck. A local re-sale shop sells them 5 for a dollar, and they have had good stuff all of the times I've been in there, for comparison I got "Mellon-Collie and the Infinite Sadness" on Cassette for $4 at oen store and another store wanted $16 for the CD's, just saying. But to be clear, I didn't grow up with vinyl or Cassettes really, I've always bought music on CD or digitally, so the excitement of something new is also a part of it too.

My band released a full album on vinyl, and my advice to you is to not release anything on vinyl ever. It's outrageously expensive, doesn't sound all that much better if you recorded your music digitally, and ultimately doesn't sell well. I think we went with a company called Pirate's Press or some shit. I'd recommend they if you really really really want your music on vinyl.

Oh, and make sure you have it mixed for vinyl. It's not the same as CD and digital, so that's extra $$$ (or time if you do it yourself). I think the treble needs to be boosted and the bass cut, but I could have that backwards.
