drum "samples" from youtube

Post by mrmtzion »

I have made a few electronic noise tracks by hooking up my ipad to my looper and looping drum samples off of machine etc youtube videos. What does everyone think of this? Just wondering. If I ever release the tracks I will give credit to the youtube user whos random 30 sec drum track I sampled. I just feel like a weirdo doing this in my garage drunk at 2 am. What is your opinion?

the only thing about sampling from youtube that bothers me is crate diggers who love to talk about how u can only sample vinyl and make a big fuss about it, but then sample shit off youtube when no one is around....otherwise fuck it i could care less if you make something cool out of it....life is a sample dude
