Strange Matter, in Richmond, VA. Visit on a Tuesday for half price burger night with plenty of vegetarian and some vegan options.
In Maryland, Stone Chappel Road in New Windsor. Just drive it. It's beautiful really any time.

Speaking of alcoholic beverages in brooklyn:
Brooklyn Brewery. Best damn beer and the brewery is AN ACTUAL FUCKING BREWERY MAN. Seriously, if you haven't had their lager you are missing out.

Nigga, I know Porrillo's.
I just heard about a brew pub on the outskirts of town in the middle of an industrial park. I'll check that out and get back to y'all.

Columba Museum. On of the most impressive buildings I have ever been in. It looks low profile from outside but it's just gorgeous inside. They have basically built an eerily lit giant room on top of excavations that go from a church destroyed during WWII bombings back to the romans. That shit is unreal.
I really love the shady old-school Strohhut right around the corner for Currywurst.

Is currywurst available in the US anywhere? This is a food I must try. I live in a part of the US that actually ships pretzels to Germany. How have I not had this wonder of Deutschland?

Basically it's easy enough to do yourself. Get a nice Bratwurst, cut it to pieces, soak in Ketchup and pour the hottest curry powder you can find on it. Serve with french fries.
Should look like this:

Bonus points for hot chilli powder, curry flavoured ketchup and specially the Wurst being done by a lady with unshaved axels. Enjoy.

There must be some place in either Philly or Pittsburgh that serves it?
