gotta hear more than three minutes of it is what i think. particularly, i want to know how much tone does it suck when bypassed, and how tweakable are the presets? €245 is a lot of money for a delay in Yankee dollars.

My primary concern is that A/D conversion will suck as much as the Line 6 M_s, which is the only reason I no longer have an m9.

Somebody on here just got one. I think SmallEQ :idk:

Yeah, I was thinking it was clearly intented to compete with the Line 6 which seems to pretty much be the standard modeling delay/looper. Never having owned a DL4 I'm not exactly sure how they stack up. A quick scan makes it seem like the Vox is about twice as functional (2x as many delay modes, and 2x as much loop time), but that doesn't really say anything about it's quality.

I'd definitely want to know about tone suck, and one issue I've seen with people using a DL4 is that when you stack a couple looped parts over each other, it tends to have a considerable volume drop.

From reading, the looper has a feature where you can level the loops so the next layer is louder. I'm excited that looping is progressing. It use to be time, but now it's features. That's pretty neat and the delays with looping with expression adjusting is awesome. It's cool.

Also, why the fuck didn't they make the Vox loopers stereo and made the delay stereo?

Yeah, in case you missed it in the pedalboard thread, here is me using the looper for the first time without reading the instructions:

Went to GC today, tried it out, came home with it.

Thoughts so far:
-Why does it come with batteries instead of a power supply?
-Manual is horrible from what I've looked at so far, mainly in that it doesn't go into detail about how modes work.
-Pitch shifting delay doesn't do as many intervals as TimeLine.

+Great value for price.
+Can use delays while looping.
+Addition of reverse and trigger for loop are very handy.
+Because it's more digital than modeling, it can do some cool glitchy stuff, such as step shifting when decreasing time.
+The modes that do oscillate sound pretty cool.
+Phaser delay!!!!!!!
+Pitch-shifting delay, which is also included on some of the Ambient modes. :yay:
+Did I mention the price? Seriously, this is the poor man's TimeLine (tm).

I'll do a demo or two soon.
