What are you thankful for?
Barring the violent history, this is my favorite holiday. It seems like the only time my family tries not to argue, and it's something almost everyone can get behind regardless of creed. I like to eat and I like to show thanks, so what are you guys appreciative of this year?
I'm happy to have finally knocked out more than a couple projects with my best friend. Been able to keep up on the mortgage for almost 2 years now on my first house. Afford the equipment I've wanted. Break the streak of writer's block I had for possibly 3 years. Find musician's with a like mind. Release my first vinyl AND get positive reviews! and of course to find this awesome forum which has inspired me in a lot of ways. Met some really great people, and I hope to contribute my own dose to this community. Thanks, guys!

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, God said, "Let there be Lips!" And there were, and they were good, and the lips said...

Re: What are you thankful for?
I'm thankful the doc's didn't have to amputate my Grandmother's leg a few weeks ago.
I'm thankful she's doing well post-op, and now in the nursing home, even tho I miss her something fierce.
I'm thankful my other newphew wasn't killed or hurt in the tragic accident that killed my younger nephew a week and a half ago.
I'm thankful that even tho my nephew was 8 years old, he had a heart full of joy and wonder for the world and helped bring joy into a lot of people's lives.
I'm thankful for the friends I have, IRL and online. I honestly don't know what the fuck I'd be doing right now if I couldn't hop online and laugh at pedal return policies and Devi acting like a doofus. Or run over to have a beer-n-bullshit session with Jason and Tex.
It's been a horrifying fukt up year, but there's still a lot to be thankful for.

I'm thankful for my relatively great health.
I'm also thankful that my wife isn't partially insane like most women.

Re: What are you thankful for?
Well, I'm obviously thankful for otters
but besides that, I'm glad to be able to keep living life the way I want to and to be able to make music and at least have a few people like it as well as going to record early next year and release an album or two

Being alive and finding the beauty in it.
The people I care for.
The people who care for me.
The opportunities I've had.

Re: What are you thankful for?
Im thankful for that fact that there are other people who are actully realizing the purpose
of the holiday
I noticed that society is making a bigger deal about black friday then thanksgiving. It's like
"now that we've thought about being grateful and thankful for what we have, lets just go out
and buy more shit tomarrow"
it's disgusting to me.
