so off we go.
she gets a relatively important call and takes it, chats it up a while, finally we arrive and she keeps talking for a bit
while she's on the phone I come to the startling realization that I lost my freakin keys. my car keys.
MY CAR KEYS FOR THE CAR I JUST DROVE HERE.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
I look a while, she looks a while. not a damn thing
we decide to eat then look for the keys some more
STILL NO KEYS
she called a family friend to come get us and we left a note on the car saying we went to go get the duplicate and would be back tomorrow
I don't have a mothra flipplin duplicate.

if the restaurant has booths the keys may have fallen through the space between the back cushion and the seat cushion and landed in the enclosed area beneath the seat. yes, this happened to me once.
