Usually the same stuff as usual... probably more post-rock since it's really soothing...

so more Hammock, Jakob, Pg.Lost, Explosions in the Sky, sometimes 65 Days of Static, God Is an Astronaut, Maserati... not Mogwai, don't know why...

and mellow music in general... Portishead are great. or Earth... something that won't raise my adrenaline too much

Sparklehorse, Telefon Tel Aviv, Benn Jordan, Radiohead, Arnold Schoenberg, Daedalus, Vladislav Delay, The Dolls, NMH, Little Dragon, Former Ghosts, various blues artists.. etc. etc.

I'm not sure if I should be concerned with the length of the list :no:

Indeed.. Elliott Smith, Xiu Xiu, Joy Division, Daniel Johnston, Roky Erickson, Early Animal Collective, Deerhunter, The Royal Alberta Advantage, NMH, Skip James, Slint, and so on...if I could post my itunes library it would show 750+albums, more than half of which would prolly be classified as "sad" music. However, I really think it depends on the mood you're in. I can listen to NMH and be the happiest person ever, or just the opposite.
