The movie is actually called Fuzz: The Sound that Changed the World and it is available on DVD via Netflix,...if you are the type that pays for stuff.

Might be able to torrent it too. Image

The Death by Audio guys are portrayed like junkies in this movie. I'd still buy their gear though.

I found the anecdote from the engineer about Zvex (pedal fails, gets fixed but doesn't sound the same) to be telling.

Maybe potheads is more like it. They just seem stoned; broken sentence fragments,...but then again,...I'm always stoned too. Maybe the one guy just had a cold.

That guy you are referring to has an interesting point of view on things. "All musicians are losers,..." It's a little smug and stereotypical; I know plenty of musicians that are well put together. It's good for a laugh though.
