ugh. just got home to an answering machine message from an dude who said I he wants a refund for a pedal he bought off me. i know the buyer was hesitant to buy since the pedal was bigger then he imagined and might not fit on his board. Last time this happened the buyer was plugging the guitar into the out, and the amp in the in. I can't imagine what it is this time.
edit: and then he disappeared into the night and never called back. story complete

Troof. He tried it, his fault. This ain't some rental circus. Not like buying a pedal new with manufacturing warranty.

I agree! everyone has had buyers remorse one time or another. They just need to grow up and accept the purchase. if its not broken...fuck em'!

"OH WAIT"!!! "It costs a lot of money to look this cheap"
i agree if the pedals broken or not working then maybe a refund but if its oh i dont like the sound or it didnt fit on my board piss off its your fault should have thought about that
yeah, i've had enough of craplist, too many "want to try it out" only to hang out talk like they know shit and then haggle down when they think you're a buddy....
my worst pedal sale/refund experience on craigslist was selling a modulator that worked perfectly fine, guy emailed and called me to tell me it was broken three days later, that it wouldn't stop oscillating... so like a nice guy that i am i offer to take it back, i do, give him a refund, plug it in and it doesn't work at all.... i call him to ask what he did... no answer.... i email, text... nothing.... i open it up and he burned out the circuit somehow...
i'm too nice of a guy to do the craigslist thing...

This. But you should also rub your grundle in his face to smear in the shame.

i wish i had the balls of ilf. i just ignore emails i sold some random guy one of those m audio recording interfaces. he came over, checked it out, 3 days later wants his money back because its 'not the model he thought it was'
he emailed me, so i actually had a chance to reply. curious that he needed to highlight that size isn't the problem, but the pedal clicks when he stomps it on this guys is setting himself up for an obvious disappointment
