What do you do for a living?

Post by thelonelyweeblo »

It doesn't take being on here very long to realize that some of y'all are flush with cash. So, i was just curious what guys do for jobs.

I work for the University of Arkansas in their bookstore doing what they classify as accounting. It definitely isn't the same accounting I studied in college, but whatever, it's a job. It doesn't pay a lot, but the benefits are pretty alright, it's not hard, and it does afford me time to sit on the internet.

So, let's hear it. How do you all afford all this awesome gear?

I used to watch fruit flies mating then dissect their brains.
I took a decade out and ran computers for EvilCorp fillign the world with bile.
I moved on to squishing up slime moulds and mapping their genome.
Then I sequenced fish -- this time someone else did all the squishing and I juts sat in my Dr. Evil control tower doing the non-stinky stuff on computer.

Now I read about other people doing all those things for more money than I ever got actually doing any of it myself.

I was in construction for 10 years. Good pay, meh work. Then the economy took a shit and both the pay and work turned to utter shite.

Now I work for a pickup and bass company. I am poor but happy. :joy:

This was supposed to be a temporary job but I've been there for two years now. Maybe typing this will give me more of a boost to get out of there.

I am unemployed so my days are spent between watching anime on netflix and masturbating. Frequently.

I run my own business delivering organic food - great hours, good money, lotas driving, and hire out my studio a little on the side to bands or performers who I can bear to listen to for extended periods. Also have occasional jobs in the construction industry helping out a couple of friends for great pay, crap work.
buncha stuff...
