moments where you're convinced there is no hope for humanity

Post by mutmoo »

My moment today comes from this twitter reply (twitter should be enough of a reason to believe there is no hope for humanity) on my page:

"Hey fucker, talk about realshit. Ur funny, butU've no graspon whats actually funny."

Honestly.... :wha?: :wha?:   :erm:  all at the same time.

Also, most life chats suuuuuck in a way that is non-appealing.

If you'd like to see that Twitter it's MikeThoughtThat (Oh self promotion  )

Well, I mean... he has a point.

For me, it's my brother explaining to me why Global Warming is a hoax (Hint: Winter was cold) and that they haven't proven smoking causes cancer. And that homosexuality is a choice... I could go on. >.>

Your brother is awesome, in a sad yet hilarious sort of way. You should make a regualr post of the things he says to you for general ILF entertainment.

I'm not calling myself funny, but his statement still makes no sense. If he said "you're not funny" I would've accepted that rather than the gibberish he actually said.

And add me to the list of people who want to see more quotes from your brother!

For me it hurts on a daily basis to see so many people floating through life without any more concern than for their bank accounts, their sex life, and their bellies. There is so much more to life, so many beautiful and profound things are near us at all times, and I look around me and wonder why no one else seems to see it.

I walk home at night down dark streets lit by the flashing of American "TV time"; which lasts from the instant most people get home from work until the last possible second before they force themselves to bed. Up in the morning, off to meaningless jobs, then home to do it all again. It's fucking disgusting.

Haha, I have to be clear... I was just making light of the fact what he said didn't make any sense at all.

Speaking of Fox news, my mom was trying to take a nap, and I turned on Glenn Beck and woke her up... within 5 minutes, she shouted "SOMEONE SHOULD SHOOT THIS MAN."

Gives me a little hope. :')

But the fact Fox News is the most popular news show makes me kind of sad. Of course, that's because old people aren't getting their news online where they don't have to wait for the stories they don't care about...

I gave up on the masses when I was about 15, which was 20 years ago. What's even more frustrating are the ones that think they have a clue, and they couldn't be more wrong. It's like Inception, only instead of levels of sleep it's levels of awareness...which I guess is kind of the same, but different. Shit, now I'm making my own head hurt.
