rewatched it and liked it much more the 2nd time. didnt dislike it the first time, just expected more i guess. next to last ep and all.

Yeah well Weiss and Benioff have already come out and said that the whole pattern with "big shocking reveals/deaths happen in episode 9" was purposefully changed this year, and all of the crazy shakeups will be in the finale this weekend.

Marvel picked a director for a Doctor Strange movie last week, but no lead actor yet, and there has been a groundswell of net support for Pedro Pascal, over the likes of Jared Leto, Benedict Cumberbatch, and various others. He's really the best choice by a mile and I hope he gets the part...

Sandor's and Brien's fight. Perhaps one of the greatest fight scenes ever filmed. Made me bit sad because something about it made me convinced that she is not long for this world. I had somewhat hoped the series would depart from her largely senseless death, but I don't see that happening now. Another valiant fool will die for nothing while winter is coming.
