I don't think there's any way they're not resolving Tyrion next week. The preview showed Tyrion, Shae and Varys, so that storyline is definitely happening. The preview showed Arya, so her thing with the Hound is happening as well. Dany got a quick glance, and Mance. And Bran and the Reeds will get somewhere. Everything else will have to wait until next season. That's still a ton of shit to cover, but they've already announced episode 10 is going to be an extra 15 minutes long.
Last episode was a bit of a let down compared to the red viper/mountain fight episode for sure. But we did get this:

Ahh I missed the preview. Good to know, lets just hope Tyrion keeps his head
The Castle Black storyline is one of my least favorite of the show. I prefer the more political aspects going on elsewhere. But I was wondering while watching the last episode, why not go around the wall? Does the wall extend to an ocean on both sides making it impossible to around without a navy?
The wall has an impassable mountain range on the West, and an ocean to the East. I think somewhere in the books they mention that small groups could make it through the mountain, but not an army like Mance Rayder has assembled.
I was a bit bored by an entire episode at the wall. In the books I loved those bits but in the show mehhh especially when it's just a big fight. If I had to pick a part of the story to make into an entire episode of that plot it would be second last (waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy millions of miles ahead of dany still though)
