What is that???
Prejudice against the (typically physically) handicapped.

Y'know, like if you can walk up stairs, you're an asshole.
There are some who refer to this as "disableist", I've recently learned.

As a new guy though, this place is definitely quite a bro-down. Do any women post here other than Aen's Wife?

Smoked Sausage Supreme would be a good name for some kind of dual pedal. Someone take that and run with it.

:idk: yeah, I can't fucking tell. Probably just a matter of being here for long enough and learning who is who. Don't mind me.

Where the fuck are these gear forums with tons of females you guys keep talking about??? Theres a large contingent of people here that constantly moan about a lack of female presence and its unrealistic and creepy as fuck. Do you think that the women coming here are going to approve of your gear and PM you to meet up and fuck or something? Heres an idea, take pics of your gear and put them on tinder. Jesus christ.

Naw, not other gear forums per se. But other internet forums I've used definitely have like, a substantial female presence. Not trying to be a creeper. Def not on the hunt or whatever.

As far as the female presence goes - and this is purely anecdotal and based on my experiences - I know maybe 3 female musicians IRL who are into more "out-there" or "experimental" music, and they sure as shit don't give a fuck about using fancy pedals or talking about how they like to run reverb before fuzz. I realize in this post I'm probably walking a fine line, but I consider myself a feminist and have wholey shed a lot of my "the differences between boys and girls is..." thoughts that I carried for many years, but bare with me. Every female musician I've met has next to no desire to discuss gear, let alone go out of there way to find a *somewhat* obscure forum to discuss it. It's not like we scared them off with our rampant masculinity or anything (well maybe jwar has*), it's just a coincidence.

* :lol:

On the real I hate bros more than anything. I live in a big football town (NDSU Bison anyone?) and those entitled stupid pricks basically have a free pass for all sorts of scummy behavior. On of my gay friends was literally beaten up on the streets for no reason by some homophobic bro and was rescued by an off-duty policeman. I can't go into fucking Taco Bell without hearing someone say "Faggot lol". It's awful. There is a very awesome, tight knit, progressive and accepting community here, which makes everything bearable, but were outnumbered 10-to-1.

Fuccbois need to die.
