i fucked UP and got the islands confused. WHY IS IT CALLED THE BIG ISLAND. THAT IS SO AMBIGUOUS.
we're staying on THE BIG ISLAND, not Maui. we're AirBnBing at (she's awesome, the house we're renting is sexxxxxy times) a place near Hilo.
so, had to scramble and drop too much cash for next morn tickets and a hotel room for the night, but we got to Hilo a day late, been a blast.
snorkeling tomorrow, found a tat artist we like his work a lot, hiked by the Rainbow Waterfall today, been going to different beaches every day, eating at a spot we can watch the active volcano from tonight..... fun stuff.
