Honestly though, even everyday name brand multivitamins could have weird side effects.

Do you just not have time for meals or you just feel like you can get by on a meal and aren't hungry?resincum wrote:thread is awesome I'm def buying some of that illegal in other countries stuff. I compete in the NPC which really is the best to compete in. No offense to the "natural" guys. Whatever that means, but I come in excellent condition, where they can walk in sloppy and still win. Insane. I've seen guys in natural organization's looks like absolute shit and they get pro cards. Just so you know. The "testing" they do is not real testing. They do a piss test and a lie detector. A lot of natural guys are not natural.wsas3 wrote:Well yeah you and I exercise regularly, and the results in test increase isn't a straight slope. Again, what works for me, may not work for you and vice versa.
The leagues you compete in don't test, or you just work around that? Or it only raises test to normal levels?

See this is where you need to be careful. Some test boosters are illegal and just have not been pulled yet. You can find them at GNC and Complete Nutrition (the worst IMO). They basically sell steroids and get away with it until it's banned. I've seen them do it many, many times. I actually purchased roids (unknowingly and under a recommendation) when I was 18 from GNC. A year later it a was a banned substance. I had NO idea it was a steroid of any kind. Which is a whole nother topic I'd have to talk about. LOL. I'll not crap up this thread though.wsas3 wrote:I mean I take a lot of things, some multivitamins, fish oil etc. So yeah I understand the diet thing.jwar wrote:I beg to differ sir. You're speaking more of homeopathic type supplements if you mean they are placebos. I have test many, many supplements and had blood work done, and they do in fact work. It's just a matter of what you take and why.wsas3 wrote:Diet and exercise. Exercise will help with testosterone. Test booster is fake. Just push your body consistently and see what it'll do for you before you become a slave to supps and the never-ending game of placebo BS.
Remember. Supplements are made to supplement what you're not getting in your diet. Some things you literally cannot get enough of in your diet. IE most things. LOL
Also, saying test boosters are fake is a pretty vague as a lot of the ingredients in test boosters, especially the ones I mentioned have been medically studied and show results. They do work, but not all things work the same for all people.
The thing I meant about test boosters is that it doesn't boost testosterone beyond a small amount, or else it would be called test and be illegal. it just replicates things that go hand in hand with having high test. The lower your test the more it'll hep and possibly raise it yes but that's only because you were slacking in some aspects.

Doctor thing is so fucking true , that's not out on a limb. I've had to lie about being a professional hockey player to get doctors to give me good advice on lifting etc other than 'don't lift'. Have had to change doctors because of it. Had a bicep strain recently, went to a doctor and he just wouldn't stop telling me to not do bench press and dips because 'it puts extraordinary amount of stress on the muscles'... like, the kind it takes to grow?jwar wrote:I compete in the NPC which really is the best to compete in. Obviously the increase of test is not a straight slope. It is a curve almost. It goes up then comes down, then goes up, then comes down. That's why I'm prescribed by a doctor two shots a week. So I don't have a down period.
Also, some doctors do not know anything about exercise nutrition or exercise science in general. In fact, I'll go out on a limb and say most don't. I've never met one yet that understood the science behind having anything but a food pyramid diet. At least not that practices regular medicine. Naturopathic doctors do sometimes.
Please note, the things I mention about supplements have been well studied, well tested and proven to work. I don't take anything that hasn't and don't recommend anything that hasn't. Supplements can be very, very helpful when used correctly. I'm not an expert in supplements but I am working on becoming a licensed nutritionist. So pretty soon, I'll be able to do more than make blanket statements.

Never did that too me. I've heard it compared to extacy though! So interesting how differently people react to things! Which brand did you get? Can you share a link?chuckjaywalk wrote:Yohimbe hit me like Adderal. I was a little shocked. I'm going to go really slow with this one.

With my diet products there is usually like a 2 day loading period. Like take 1 pill a day for the first two days, and then on the 3rd day take 2 pills. Maybe he took too much the first time? That has happened around the office a few times to different people.jwar wrote:Never did that too me. I've heard it compared to extacy though! So interesting how differently people react to things! Will look into this. I used to take Vitamin B often but kind of stopped. My anxiety has been pretty high lately.skullservant wrote:Vitamin B. 1000mg every day has really helped curb my anxiety. Only catch is it speeds up metabolism a bit, so I get hungry pretty early when I've normally skipped breakfast.

That's what I was thinking also.untilshewokeme wrote:With my diet products there is usually like a 2 day loading period.
