If you have a sinus infection, soak a washcloth in hot (boiling?) water, or soak the washcloth, ring it out, and microwave it for a minute or two. BE CAREFUL. Open it up to cool it a bit, ring it out if it's too wet, then lie down and drape it over the entire top half of your face (don't burn yourself, you want it barely uncomfortable). This has worked really well for me, to help dilate your sinuses and/or help knock out infections. "Hot compress". Your sinuses go throughout your entire head, so cover your forehead, temples, etc with the compress, not just your nose. It takes a couple tries to get the timing down, so the washcloth is hot but not painfully hot. You can do this a few times a day. Your face might be flush for a few minutes afterwards (no big deal if you're not at work etc.) Good in combination with other treatments.
