I got this unit in part for a trade for the first Volt Thrower ever built for Todd in Deadbird. He was the one who had the OG pharaoh modded to this spec.

you got serious doom room cred if you have a non-Ge OG pharaoh unit. Super mojo.

Mine was one of the last ones before the Ge upgrade. #24. I love it.

Hehe, small world.

I should have more time tonight to mess around with it. I don't have a pic of the front yet. There are two toggle switches and I believe they are both 2-way. The bottom one might be 3-way, will have to test again. Green LED.

Mark even offered to upgrade it by sending me the extra parts and I said no way, gotta keep it OG stock.

I do not put that unit on my board for space reasons and I have the Coven on there to cover the Pharaoh. I am definitely interested in a Pharaoh Supreme tho.

The toggles are Hi/Lo input mode, and the clipper switches

Dude that unit has seen some people. Might have some dunwich beard hair on it.

Ha! I thought that was your old one. I remember wanting your Earthbound from the same bst ad this was also on, Nick.

With that said, I've tried several Pharaohs and I've ever only liked the germanium setting on the one I had. I tried to like the rest, but it just didn't do my thing like the GE flip. I do love triangle muffs though. So this one probably sounds rad. Speaking more so on guitar.

Yea its not super useful on bass since its thinner sounding. It got tighter because he thinned the coupling caps.

The Iron Pig was okay. I had #2 from the first run.

In all seriousness that's a pretty frickin cool piece of gear. And seriously, crank it up and get the full experience. Stack it with stuff, too. Push overdrives with it. It's hot.

From what you guys are saying, it sounds like I stumbled on a pretty unique/special fuzzbox, no?

I'll really have to sit down with it and mess around. I'm not always the most patient person around but it sounds like it is worth my time to experiment with it.

I just brought my Pharaoh out of retirement. Pharaoh into Oath is so fucking vicious.

I can confirm that both toggles are 2 way. Here's a pic of the front:

How was I to expect that a Guitar Center in Florida would be carrying a Pharaoh formerly owned by Nick?
