I'm not trying to be an asshole,...but once a junkie; all concern for other people who do not enable their addiction ceases to exist. For sure this is a broad generalization,...but sometimes generalizations can be accurate.
Sorry thats how things worked out but honestly, not at all surprised. I think you did the right thing and cutting ties with the dude will save you a lot of hassle down the road.

I think you have to do this man. I would tell him he has a month to get clean and if he doesn't then you'll tell his wife. This will save his wife and potential child pain; the people who don't deserve it.

The wife thing is a bit of an issue. She hates me bacause he uses me and everyone else to blame why he is fucked up. He cheats on her. Gangbangs local skaggs. His exploits were funny when they were just him. But if I tell the wife, it opens a can of worms where I would become her infiltration unit through the front line of dishonor and infidelity and I can't do all that. Besides she's a total bitch. Truth is, I hate her too. They have no kids, he wants none. I am not gonna be a narc, even for him. It's just not me. Ain't going there.
